Shelly C. James wanted a simple yet edgy logo that reflects her strong personal brand as an rollerskating event producer, while also ensuring her face and brand identity stood out on every piece of collateral. The challenge was to create dynamic designs for each event—such as tickets, EventBrite images, and social media flyers—without becoming repetitive.
I designed a minimalistic logo for Shelly with a unique twist, manipulating the "S", "C", and "J" in her name to create a separated line effect, adding an edge to the simplicity. For each event, I maintained the core branding by incorporating Shelly's image in a distinctive way on the flyers, ensuring her presence was prominent without losing visual diversity. The theme of each event is mirrored in the design elements, keeping the look fresh and engaging while reinforcing Shelly’s personal brand as the focal point.
