Project Summary / Challenge
Instead of leaning into a basketball-inspired concept to tie directly to the “Dlow Curry” name, I took a different approach. I crafted an urban, street-inspired aesthetic that better reflects his vibe and lifestyle. This choice not only matched his image more authentically but also demonstrated how visuals can offer a fresh perspective without sticking to the obvious script. Alongside his main series, I also designed a separate poster featuring Dlow and all the artists on his tour. Styled with the presence and scale of a movie poster, it captured the collective energy of the lineup while still allowing him to remain the centerpiece.
Solution / Approach
I developed visuals that highlighted Dlow and his featured artists as the focal point, incorporating street-inspired elements to maintain authenticity. The series stayed true to the concert’s theme while giving it a new perspective, balancing dynamic energy with clear, engaging compositions. The final designs offered a polished reinterpretation suitable for promotional use and showcased a conceptual approach aligned with the artist’s style.
